Well looked after, so clean, tidy and modern. The rooms have really great air conditioning, the pool is wonderful to cool off. There is a communal shaded area to sit and relax outside of your own unit. The host is very friendly. I chose to have breakfast there which was fresh and healthy. Great start to the day. Very safe and secure. Close to great cafes, bars and restaurants. You need to rent a bike if you would like to get to the beach.

When travelling through Uvita, the only place you want to stay at, is Casa Oh. Toubi and Dinah have built a house with heart, and you’ll definitely feel it. The house is amazing. This is a magical and amazing place to stay. It shows the effort and love it is built. The staff is superb, the installations are simple and practical (clean and well mantain). You are close to nature, with an excellent location and it has spaces to relax and be with yourself. All of these made my stay in Uvita a marvellous one.

They have such a lovely outdoor shower!! Love love love it! The pool is nice and refreshing. Not so hot, which is good since you want to cool off. The sleeping pods are small, but I don't find them claustrophobic as some people in the comments say. They obviously have never camped before 😂 They have free coffee to make and a fair kitchen to use. It had a nice ambiance!

Cabana was in a spacious compound behind the owner's home. Host was friendly and available. The gate to the compound was secured by a large chain and padlock. While I appreciate the need for security, I found it awkward to remember or look up the code for the padlock every time I went out. The cabana was great for me travelling alone, but may be cramped for 2. It was very clean and kitchen utensils were provided. Also a communal fridge was available. Cabana was very close to the beach, with small supermarket and a few places to eat in nearby hostels. Walk into the town centre is about 30 minutes. Overall had a good stay.

First of all Matthew the host is such a nice guy, helpful and there for any questions. Second of all it’s in an amazing location, beautiful views, quiet and so peaceful with nature surrounding you you really get the feel of being in Costa Rica I highly recommend this place and really enjoyed our time! Definitely needs a 4x4 to get to the place however it’s recommended to rent a 4x4 in Costa Rica no matter where you go because of the roads.
