We had an incredible stay at a charming hotel in Murgtal, where the super friendly and welcoming couple managing the property made us feel valued and right at home. The impeccably clean rooms showcased their dedication to maintaining a pristine environment, and their thoughtfulness was evident when they provided us with a bottle of water for our hiking trip when the supermarkets were closed. The reasonably priced and delicious breakfast spread further enhanced our experience. A beautiful accomodation set among the vineyards! The bus 400 from Achern train station takes you just 20 meters from the front door. The accomodation is walking distance to the bakery and butcher in town as well as lots of great restaurants. We did the Schapsbrunnenweg hike while visiting and loved it a lot. The rooms were very comfortable with a great view. We travelled as a group of friends (3 couples) and we were gives rooms right next to each other, with one room having a big table where we could all have coffee together in the mornings and play cards in the evenings. We also had one couple with their little dog and it was fantastic to be able to bring the dog along for the weekend. We really had a 10/10 experience. We especially appreciated the coffee machine!

The are was quite and there were lovely views from the room. They have a nice parking area next to the hotel and very good breakfast.
