Coming to the surf house here was an unforgettable journey with creating memories and make surprisingly deep bonds with former strangers. I was traveling by myself around Spain as a female solo traveler and let me tell you in no other hostel it was that easy to socialize, meet people, have fun times at the beach, getting yoga classes in the mountains of a national park or even enjoy a little yoga session at the beach! The staff was creating fresh meals where the menu changes every day. I had such a great time here appreciate and thank the whole stoke gang for making my time so great! Will def be back asap

Breakfast was excellent with lots of choices. Our host was very helpful with suggestions regarding best places to eat, where to visit.

This hotel is situated in the attractive Plaza de la Música and just a short stroll from the the longest beach in the Basque Country.

Excellent friendly helpful staff. Restaurant very flexible. We arrived late at 10.30 pm having had a car breakdown en route. The restaurant was still open so we had a good meal. We received a free upgrade to our room. Simple air conditioning which actually worked. Lively bar with good simple food. Very central.

Great room right in the centre of the small village. Good directions for key code access. As recommended we parked in the free parking on the harbour and walked a couple of hundred metres up ramp into the village and entrance was just up a few steps next to church entrance. Room was clean with rustic deco and bit of funky design with ensuite within obscure glass vroom. Bed very comfy and would definitely recommend again.

Very nice hotel. Be prepared for the mountain road. I have minibus, for me it was difficult to drive almost vertical. But the hotel is very nice.

Excellent location close to restaurants and bars. Easy access via the lift to the 2nd floor. very quiet so a great nights sleep and the rooms and en-suite were super clean and comfortable.

The Pension Getariano is a charming, traditional Basque house in the centre of Getaria. It is set right by the sea and offers beautiful mountain views.
