The rooms were very comfortable and Nadine is very welcoming - we texted to arrange the eta and she sent me directions (in French but google translate is very good!). The bathroom is small but everything was very clean and easy to use. Breakfast was very good - we filled in a card to say what we wanted and Nadine phoned a small restaurant the evening we arrived to see if it was open. It was about 5 mins drive away, basic but the food was good (Monday's lots of restaurants were closed) and the staff welcoming. Water, tea and coffee was provided in our room, also towels, etc.

Our room was very large and bright with a beautiful view of the countryside. The weather was good so we made good use of the table just outside of our sliding doors. The Kitchenette was adequate for our needs. Really nice shower. The bed was very comfortable and the area very quiet. We had a large breakfast. Very generous amounts of food. This village is a farming community, which I really enjoyed. The only traffic was farm machinery coming back from the fields. I enjoyed the sounds of the animals and watching the swallows in the evening. Very relaxing.

Close to the GR5 / E2 long distance path in an area where there are few accommodation options I was really glad of Le Clos des Pommes. Lovely spacious room with all I needed and an excellent breakfast.

Absolutely stunning farm house with fabulous views. Set in a small village 5km from the lovely town of Pont a Mousson. Excellent dinner at the Pierre Bonaventure Restaurant. Please book beforehand as very popular. Our delightful host, Veronique, was very helpful/knowledgeable about the area. The breakfast was delicious; homemade jams were amazing! I would definitely stay here again. 10/10
