The beautiful mystical house seems to be out of place in this modern era. It belongs to its history and to the myth of earlier times that lies within and rises around it. I feel a fortunate person to have been able to host in such a unique house. It stays in my mind as the best accommodation and choice I have ever had from my travels. The communication with Gregory who takes care of everything in the place came to be brotherly. I will never forget the breakfast time when we all gathered in the main dining room and were treated to his treat of fine food and drinks. We were like a companion from morning until evening when we again gathered to say goodnight and retire to our rooms. The cats that roamed the house were an added life and freedom to the atmosphere that prevailed. I could write even more but I would like every visitor to have the opportunity to discover for themselves the true beauty of dwelling in there, alongside that special person who cares for it and experiencing the magic of the forest.

    Attentive, friendly, open, kind hostess in a gloriously quiet, countryside setting. You need a car, or perhaps bicycles, though there are walks near the house. Paimpont itself has a Secrets of the Forest museum, and an Abbey, both worth a look. Lots of Arthurian legend stuff about, involving travelling not too far. Tréhorenteuc and Grail Church, Concoret with castle of Comper and Arthurian museum.

    Warm welcome from Catherine, a charming and interesting host. We spoke in French but she speaks English too. Room in the attic was spacious and had large en-suite bathroom with good shower. Comfortable bed, slept well. Tea and coffee tray. Breakfast was excellent, quality products.

    This property was fabulous- rustic French style with old well maintained furniture in the living area. Beds were really comfortable. Fresh brewed coffee and local organic produce for breakfast. A really lovely experience. Thank you to the hosts. I highly recommend this for peace and quiet and country living.

    Charming guesthouse, with the loveliest garden and a wonderful breakfast. There is a housekeeper who is very dedicated and follows up booking over the phone. The location is great very near the main village, and the rooms are spacious, cosy, and very clean.
