You need a car, or perhaps bicycles, though there are walks near the house. Paimpont itself has a Secrets of the Forest museum, and an Abbey, both worth a look. Room in the attic was spacious and had large en-suite bathroom with good shower. Comfortable bed, slept well. Tea and coffee tray. Beds were really comfortable. Fresh brewed coffee and local organic produce for breakfast. A really lovely experience. Thank you to the hosts.
