Nice, clean, and very cozy place. Located in an old tower mansion but fully renovated with all the modern amenities. A beautiful and secluded place I would recommend visiting. One of the best finds in the area.

We had the most wonderful stay Aux Marquises. An extremely beautiful, comfortable, elegantly decorated home, with a lot of space for guests! The owners gave our family the warmest welcome, including the most delicious breakfasts we had in all of our visit to France, and wonderful recommendations of things to do and places to eat around Saumur. A real jewel, very warmly recommended -- thank-you so much! I hope we get to go back one day!

Valerie and Stephane were lovely and relaxed hosts. The place s very romantic, almost magic - and the pool was great for the kids. The breakfast was plenty and delicious. What we loved most were the good recommendations Valerie shared with us. Upon her advise we visited the impressive chateau Breze and the Caves mystique. Both very good recommendations in the area when you are traveling with children.

The house was easy to find with lots of parking space. Christian, our host, was kind and relaxed. Attentive without being intrusive and made us feel very welcome in his home. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. Lovely to have breakfast of fresh bread, butter, hime made blueberry preserve and coffee served outside on the patio. Shower and sink were ensuite but toilet is just outside the room.

It was so pleasurable staying here.Patricia,Michelle and their son were so warm,friendly and helpful. Lovely period style room in this gorgeous home with its French rustic charm.Great as you can just walk into Saumur.My wife loved the pool. I loved the wildlife outside.Woodpeckers and a rare glimpse of a beautiful fox. Breakfasts so lovely in the morning room.Well done to the owners.Loved it.Would go again without hesitation. Sarah-Jane is one of those rare people who can make you feel totally at home whilst providing an exceptional experience. Rooms are beautifully decorated and cool despite the outside heat. Great breakfast and opted for Geralds "panier" for dinner first night. Fabulous and unique wine tasting experience with Gerald.
