Beautiful inn with comfortable rooms and very kind and helpful staff. My daughter and I shared a room and they appointed it with hot chocolate and tea, the TV had good kids programs available and the downstairs pub had kids menus and was very kind to children overall. It was also stylishly decorated with beautiful country touches, delicious food and drinks, and the outdoor garden was lovely.

A glorious English country pub about an hour away from Heathrow, and very close to Jane Austen’s house. The whole place is thoroughly lovely. You expect Mr Darcy to ride into the pub yard any minute. it suited us completely. The nearby walks are really good. Also, I can’t remember a place where Lisa and I were so warmly welcomed by the locals.

I loved everything about this place. My room was spacious and thoughtfully put together, very comfortable bed, and amazing shower. Dinner and drinks were lights out. Highly recommend!

It was in a very pretty setting, not far from Basingstoke. It had a lovely pub/restaurant onsite, where we had dinner and then breakfast (which was included) the next morning. The location was quiet and relaxing and the staff, friendly and welcoming.

We had the best stay at The Thomas Lord! We had some car trouble, which made us arrive very late. They did everything to make us feel welcome! A very big thank you to Kevin, Yvonne and the team.
