The property pause as advertised. It was supposedly decorated extremely comfortable, clean, quiet, and very restful. The hosts were very friendly and very pleasant to deal with. This would be one of the best B&B properties we have ever stayed in.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Stow House. Sarah was so welcoming, friendly and helpful, she recommended us a walk and called the pub to book us a table, plus the margarita cocktail she made me during cocktail hour was honestly the best margarita I have had. Stow House itself is stunning. The house is beautifully decorated with art. In the library there is an impressive selection of books and games. We enjoyed relaxing in the bar in the evening. Sarah had lit the fire for us before arrival, the bar is a well-stocked with drinks at very reasonable price. The bedroom was very nice, the bed and bedding were really comfortable, it was warm and Sarah showed us how to turn off the heating so we could control the temperature in the room. Breakfast was delicious. Really couldn't have asked for more. Thank you so much for a lovely stay. We hope to be back!

An absolutely superb stay here on a week long tour of the area. Super comfortable beds and well equipped rooms. Staff were all friendly and efficient through bars and restaurant. A snug/lounge area is nice and ample seating outside on picnic tables to enjoy the evening early summer. A very good evening meal raises any rating for here as it nicely gives restaurant quality and certainly not bar food. Well done ... 👏

clean and cosy , we couldn’t make breakfast as had ti leave early for work . but the lovely lady did us a packed lunch which I couldn’t believe as never had that before with working away . just want to say Thankyou and will be back for a holiday .

Everything! From our arrival to departure we had the most amazing time.Our room with super king-size bed overlooked the stunning dales. Lovely shower and bath. Lynne even supplied bath salts after a long walk. Clara is gorgeous and was fab to take her for a walk.Great choice at breakfast.Will definitely be back 🐕 😀

    QUAINT AND QUIRKY OLD BUILDING. LOTS OF HISTORY ATTACHED. ALL DESCRIBED VERY WELL IN THE GUEST BOOK. NICE QUIET VILLAGE, SURROUNDED BY STUNNING COUNTRYSIDE. WALKS CLOSE TO HAND, FROM THE VILLAGE. THE CAR DIDN'T MOVE FOR 2 DAYS!! ADDED BONUS OF THE SMALL SHOP AT THE PROPERTY. HAD A SUPERB MEAL AT THE KINGS ARMS PUB/RESTAURANT. I LIKED THE PROVISION OF COFFEE BAGS IN THE ROOM, RATHER THAN SACHETS THAT NEVER HAVE ENOUGH FLAVOUR, THANK YOU.
