Noise isolation was good so it was as if we were the only guests in the house. The beds were comfortable and the shower was amazing! Breakfast is at the cafe and we were able to order anything from the menu. Plenty of parking available. Right on the Monsal trail so easy access. 5 minute drive into Bakewell, or a 20 min walk along the trail.

The property is well located right in the centre of Bakewell and super easy to find, right next door to the old Bakewell pudding shop and tons of little cafes for breakfast. The staff are super friendly and it was a lovely room. Well decorated and a super comfy bed that made it hard to get out of!! The shower was really powerful and complimentary toiletries included. Easy access for out of normal pub hours as well. Whilst there is no parking, there are many car parks really close by and the agricultural centre is literally a 5 min walk away and £6 for 24 hours. There are 4 or 5 free 30 min spaces parking out side the pub so easy for dropping off your stuff. The hours are 8am to 6pm for the free 30 mins so you can park overnight if you arrive after 6 but you do need to move your car by 8.30 to make sure the following morning! Breakfast isn’t offered but you really don’t need it with so many little local cafes within 2 minutes Walk.

We loved our stay our room was cosy and comfortable very warm on a very cold day and night staff we're fabulous and what we loved the most is that when we ate our meals we weren't surrounded by dogs. I highly recommend the special board as the steak and kidney pudding was beautiful and just what I needed on a cold day very very nice, thank you all much appreciated 👏
