We've been double booked by Booking.com and it was a lot of stress when we arrived at the property late evening and all the rooms were occupied. But our host was so nice to offer us her room for the night ( she had to sleep on a couch 😐) I would say that was first rate stay for us. Best service

We like quaint hotels and such and this was right up our alley. Lyndon was wonderful and put a personal touch to morning breakfast with lots of conversation. The bed was super comfortable, there was a large TV in the room and we had a private bath. There was no curfew so we could stay out late. We were also welcome to use the kitchen as needed. Parking in front was not allowed but there was plenty available behind the building.

Our stay here was very short as we had to catch a flight at 3am and transport to the airport. Since we were missing breakfast the hotel put together a bag full of food for us to take along. The rooms and restaurant were very good and we were glad we did not have to leave the hotel to find a place to eat.

It was a very welcoming B&B and I could see it was a lovely home. The room was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. The shared bathroom wasn't far from the room and was very clean with a shower and bath. The owner was very friendly, kind and lovely and couldn't do enough for us. There was plenty of choice for breakfast and the owner explained where everything was when we arrived so that we could help ourselves the following morning. Lovely place to stay and within walking distance to a few pubs. There are a few bus stops around the area and also a train station 10 minutes away that takes you straight into Cardiff. There's unrestricted street parking across the road from the b&b where I left the car and caught a train into Cardiff to go to an event for the day then came back for the car in the evening.
