Very comfortable, clean, friendly and accommodating host. Breakfast was very good. I was pleased with the proximity to Clovelly and the SWCP. The area was very quiet, making for an excellent sleep. There were comfortable reading chairs in the room as well.

A very pleasant one night stay in a quiet, clean, light, airy room and the shower was great. Took advantage of the short drive to Westward Ho Lido for a swim and the short walk to the Thatched Inn for dinner. Sandy was a lovely hostess.

What a great place! I think they upgraded us to the Sandpiper Room, which was a spacious room with large bathroom. So nicely decorated and cozy, with a view of the ocean and some lovely multi-colored cottages across the street. The staff were very accommodating and nice. The in-house restaurant was perfect which we enjoyed dinner and breakfast from an ample menu.

Beautifully appointed large room in great location. Breakfast 500 meters away which was very nice. Self check in so didn’t meet any staff on site. Would stay again.

    I recently stayed at Moorview for three nights to use as a base to explore Devon and Cornwall on a motorbike. Loved the quiet countryside and views. Clean modern room, great hosts and lovely continental breakfast. Would definitely return.

    Moorview was in a lovely quiet area, but still near to attractions, walks, etc.. Stephen and Peter were most welcoming, and the room was lovely. The breakfast was also very nice and had a mixture of everything from fresh fruit, yoghurt, pastries, and cereal.

    From the thatched roof to all the alcoves, niches & rooms the character & history of the Hoops is everywhere. All the staff friendly & smiling. Great location to visit north west Devon. Excellent breakfast & pub grub.
