Lovely atmosphere friendly staff the food was exceptional. House keeping lady was just super, we stayed for my son's wedding and went to put on my jewellery and because we had our nails done well I needed help,so thankyou so much. Room was just right. Thankyou so much The stump & team.

Lovely hotel in great location.we had standard double room which was very comfortable we were at front of hotel so a little noise from the road to be expected.the staff were very friendly and efficient the brwakfast each morning was .excellent with a good choice.

We had booked another place, but they suddenly cancelled on us so the Golden Cross was a last minute choice. We were suprised to find we liked it! Location very central Spotless Helpful, attentive staff Modern , large rooms in an cool old building

There was a very good breakfast. Everything you could imagine was available. It was very nicely presented with very friendly service. The location was a very nice pub with super clean rooms. Simple but lovely. The bathroom wasn't very large, and the shower pressure was moderate, but it was perfectly adequate. The pub offered a fantastic atmosphere and an excellent kitchen that went beyond the usual offerings. The quality was very high and beautifully presented. We will definitely come back and are already looking forward to it.

Meals including breakfasts were outstanding Evening meals were restaurant quality Landlord ( Jasmine) went out of her way to make sure everything was in place, on time and presented in a most friendly manner. Highest quality we have encountered!
