It was all perfect. I was a little worried about the noise because the b&b seemed close to the airport (which is why we had originally chosen it) but there was absolutely nothing to be concerned about. It was beautifully silent and a lovely drive along a country road. Our host was great and really cared about looking after us. My sister is a vegan and I am a vegetarian and Jon catered for both of us. Breakfast was simple and exactly what we wanted. However, the two people next to us had a beautifully cooked full breakfast, so Oakhurst caters for everyone. The room was lovely and perfectly clean with everything we needed. The bed and the pillows were very comfortable. The place is also near to an amazing restuarant which served the best curry I have had in my life!! If you need to be close to Gatwick, this is truly the best place to stay because it is only a short drive to the terminal. We were both so glad to have discovered this hotel and sad that we only spent one night there on our way out of the country.

Very accessible to get into. Cleanliness exceeded my expectations. Tea, coffee and biscuits were provided. Owner left a page explaining how to walk to the airport from our stay, very helpful. Newsagent right across the street which was very convenient. Enjoyed our stay.

We were involuntarily stranded in Gatwick during transit and needed a place to stay late at night with 2 children, close (actually walking distance!) to the airport; self check-in works perfectly. Cristina offers 2 lovely appartments providing everything you need (including a nice coffee/tea- and breakfast-setup! it's tastefully and thoughtfully furnished - there are even USB sockets (something we were in desperate need of as for our “short” transit we didn’t bring any UK-plugs) and Netflix provided. Communication with Cristina was so kind and accommodating and despite the stress we really got to calm down there. Thank you so much - 10/10

    I needed something close to Gatwick and I didn't want to stay in one of the standard hotel chains near the airport. This is boutique, its really a nice house that has been converted to a hotel, with a number of large on suite rooms. So don't expect a traditional big hotel. It has lovely comfortable beds, it is in a nice quiet location, the breakfast was amazing and the owner was friendly and helpful.
