Amazing place to stay. Warm, cosy, clean, friendly and professional. It was a pleasure to stay in such an outstanding place. We have traveled the world and stayed in many hotels and resorts from Whitby to Thailand and Bognor to Muscat! And this place has to be one of our favorites. What makes it special is that very rare thing.. they exceeded every expectation. From the perfectly warm an cosy room with free gin! The reading room with free Whisky... a nice 10 year old Glenmorange. To the fantastic food. especially that epic sausage sarnie! 😋 Even the bar atmosphere and drink selection was beyond expectations. We cannot praise the staff enough, great team, always busy, friendly and attentive. Well done, well done, well done! We live in Manila and will be back!

Everything was fantastic John and Lyn the host's made us feel so welcome and couldn't do more for us even a little treat of scones and cream when we come back after a long day out so nice.

Around 6 miles from Farnham, The Anchor Inn in Lower Froyle is a traditional country pub and restaurant in an beautiful waterside setting. Luxurious rooms and suites have free Wi-Fi and parking.

Friendly staff at all points of contact, couldn't fault the service., Great location (we attended a wedding at Bury Court). Had lunch on arrival and really enjoyed the food, excellent breakfast too. Everywhere was lovely and clean and rooms had everything you would need. Just a pity we didn't have more time to spend there. Hope we get the opportunity to revisit in the future.

Stayed as a stop over for cycling the King Alfred way between Winchester and Reading. We just wanted a bed, breakfast and a bathroom for the night with somewhere to secure our bike that wasnt too expensive. This filled the requirements exactly. A band was playing till quite late on Sat night but we didnt mind as they were so good and we were so tired we fell asleep to the music anyway. Great curry house within sight too.

The cabin was beautifully styled and was light and airy. A lovely big comfy bed, good facilities and in a secluded and peaceful setting next to the main house. Good communications beforehand with Debbie and a really delicious breakfast of warm pastries, yogurt, granola, fresh fruit etc was waiting for us on the doorstep in the morning. We originally planned to leave first thing in the morning to travel on to friends in the West Country but ended up delaying our journey by a couple of hours as it was so lovely being in the cabin!

Located in Basingstoke and with Jane Austen's House Museum reachable within 15 miles, Bartons Mill Pub and Dining has a garden, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi and a bar.

This hotel is in a lovely setting, with easy parking. Great rooms, away from the pub so they are quiet. Superb breakfast, friendly staff. Bathroom toiletries are really nice. We always try to stay here when we are visiting the area.
