Gorgeous bnb located in a great location, for anyone wanting to explore ullswater or walking helvellyn and surrounding peaks. Comfy beds in a clean and cosy room. Great breakfast to set you up for your day ahead and the offer of sandwiches to be made for your next day. Would stay again.

We had a wonderful stay. The whole place is quite romantic and relaxed. Decoration is very good and has a bit of history, that the host will tell you about. The bedroom has a bathroom (with a big bathtub) and another one with just a toilet, a small living room with TV and sofas, and a room with two twin bed, that they kindly displayed together since we were a couple. Toiletries, towels and bathrobes were provided and good quality. Everything was quite clean. The place is very quiet, no noise whatsoever and quite close to Ullswater. The hosts were amazing, giving us plenty of suggestions of what to do around the area, they respect your privacy while being completely available. You have a place to park easily, and the hosts gave accurate directions. Honestly my favourite part was the breakfast which was excellent!! Probably the best breakfast I ever had on a hotel/BB! Everything was very fresh and made with excellent ingredients - you have a time slot and let them know what you want in advance (you have several options) and they will cook in for that time, so everything is fresh and warm. We were very glad we chose this place and would definitely stay again.

Room was spacious, comfy, clean and had beautiful views. It was very cozy and snug which was perfect after a long hike. The pub itself also has a really nice atmosphere, we ate there one night and the food was delicious. Staff were lovely and pleasant throughout the stay.

A very nice historic Inn on the edge of the lovely village of Grasmere. Very friendly, helpful staff, large comfortable rooms and good food available all day. A nice bar too.

Great Location. The Brotherswater Inn owner and his hard-working staff ensured we had a very pleasant stay. Room was clean, warm & quiet. Breakfast & evening meals were of a good quality. We will return!
