The room was a good size, well equipped and easily accessed. The beds were comfortable and it was ideally situated for visiting the Harry Potter studios (short taxi drive away) The breakfast croissants were a welcome surprise too. Thank you for an enjoyable stay

This lovely 2 bed garden room, with shared bathroom, was a perfect solution for us so that our children had their own room, but adjacent to us and safe. The rooms are exactly as per the photos and have a mini fridge, microwave, kettle and some crockery. The bathroom is compact but absolutely fine for an overnight stay, with a good shower. Sally was a wonderful host and was really quick to respond to queries. We would happily stay again. Thanks for having us!

The room had plenty of space and a comfy armchair as well as bed. The bathroom was spacious as well. there were agood choice of channels on the TV.

Louisa was very helpful and caring, she looked after me very well it was my first time in London she made sure I had everything I needed. My room was neat and clean I loved the breakfast she delivered to me every morning. The area was beautiful and the lodge was cute and cozy. Will return again with my father in August, love to introduce him to Louisa.

We stayed overnight at Old Hunters Lodge as it was close to Whipsnade Zoo and we wanted an early start at the zoo the next morning. The property was perfectly located for that, it was easy to get a cab from Luton Station to the location. The hotel itself was lovely, the room was charming. While it was a little loud being under the flight path for luton, we both managed to sleep with our headphones on and we are light sleepers. The staff were exceptional, friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. Prior to my stay I received a message from Louise and John asking if I wanted to book a table for dinner as we were arriving on Valentine’s Day and it would be busy. I really appreciated them taking that step to ensure we would have a table for dinner on the night we arrived. Dinner was lovely, I was a bit nervous as I am allergic to mushrooms and most of the valentines menu included mushrooms but they made sure my main didn’t include mushrooms. The portions were massive and the food was very good. Breakfast the next morning was also very good and fast, there were lots of options for cooked breakfast as well as juice and cereal for self service and hot drinks from the bar. Overall this was a great stay and I could easily see myself coming back.
