Outstanding food, some of the best meals we have had in Devon. The Venison was sublime and the steak was just the best steak ever, desserts were just wow! The actual Inn was the cosiest and full of history and mystery! Overall a superb place to eat and sleep, staff were very friendly and very hardworking, A really great place to stay. The staff was very welcoming and very flexible to access our requests (bikes storage, travel coat, …) The decor in the rooms and in the restaurants is very beautiful and well made, the food is absolutely excellent, for dinner and breakfast!

We stayed New Years Eve. We had booked a room and advised we were vegan. We had the most fantastic meal, so many courses, such great flavours. The chef asked what sort of food we liked in advance and the meal was superb. We will be back. The staff team were attentive and very nice. We felt well looked after.

A wonderful B&B in the centre of Tavistock. Lovingly furnished and caring hosts. Very nice location to explore Dartmoor and Tavistock. Nice garden and parking for free is also an asset.

The location was amazing, in the middle of meadows with lovely animals. Peacocks were the best companions ever! Great breakfasts, clean and spacious room and bathroom with both bathtub and shower. Very peaceful place for people who seek for relax. The best stay of our whole journey.
