The complete experience was amazing. It was sad that I couldn't meet Elizabeth due to personal issues, but her daughter was excellent, and they gave me a non-required compensation for the breakfast. I strongly recommend this lovely place to stay in their Scotland vacations.

Great staff, frendly and helpful. Clean and cosy room, very quiet. Excellent free wi-fi. Both pub and restaurant welcoming and with great food and drinks. Right on the canal, perfect to go for a walk or relax in the garden. We loved it.

What an amazing place, gorgeous in the snow, stunning surroundings, and a fabulous breakfast. Meeting the boxers Pepper, Peggy and Lily and Annette is a wonderful caring host. Staying here has been the highlight of our trip. Highly recommended.

Everything was perfect! The room was spacious, super clean, and comfortable with a good-sized private bathroom. There are tea and coffee facilities in the room and you can also use the guests' lounge where you will find a kitchen and a washing machine . Rooms are on the ground floor with a private entrance. Even though the property is right at the exit of the motorway, you won't hear anything. It's really quiet! Parking on site in front of the room entrance. Breakfast is cooked to your preference, and the hosts are extremely welcoming and pleasant! The guesthouse is situated literally at the exit of the motorway. Make sure to drive slowly not to miss the turn! We only spent 1 night here as we were flying out on the next day. The location was really convenient for us, only 30 minutes from the airport. Really good deal in the area! Highly recommended!

This place is just brilliant! Run by the lovely Lydie, it’s packed full of thoughtful touches and details that made our stay super comfortable and enjoyable! The Bruntsfield area is wonderful - a short walk away from the green area of The Meadows. The area has loads of lovely local, artisan shops and great cafes and restaurants. All just a 20 min walk from Edinburgh Castle and other sights. Just perfect place!

We had such a lovely time here. The room was spotless, cozy, and incredibly comfortable. The hosts are some of the kindest people we’ve ever met — warm, welcoming, and truly caring. The house is beautifully maintained, and the location is peaceful yet close to Edinburgh. We felt right at home and would definitely return. Highly recommended!

Very friendly staff! Wonderful room with big and comfortable bed. Dinner in the Inn was great and very well priced. Great selection of 'grab and go' breakfast set out when leaving the next morning! Only about 20 minutes drive to Edinburgh. I would definitely stay again!
