The room and private bathroom are just gorgeous. So comfortable and airy and absolutely spotlessly clean too. Perfect place to take a walk or run from. The surroundings are stunningly beautiful. The highlight of my stay was Claire, the host. Just the most amazing person. Really fun and interesting host, so great to chat with and it seemed genuinely important to her that I enjoyed my stay. Add to that the most delicious breakfast and you’ve got the perfect stay wrapped up right here! I couldn’t have been happier with my choice.

It's not every day you get to stay in a building from the 1300s! I love old, historic properties like this, and Bull Hotel was no exception. The hotel is very charming and offers comfortable beds in spectacular surroundings. The staff was very friendly, and the breakfast was nothing short of amazing. I also had dinner there and the food was great! The location is very good for exploring Long Melford and nearby towns such as Sudbury, Bury St. Emunds and Lavenham by car or local bus. Great hiking possibilities, and close proximity to Melford Hall and Kentwell Hall. I'd definitely stay here again if I return to the area.

Everything the rooms were tidy, bed was very comfortable the hists were lovely, friendly and polite. The facilities were clean and well maintained, nothing was any trouble, buffet breakfast with the largest array of jams, marmalades marmites and toppings you could wish for.
