Hilary is a charming host and very creative. Lots of attention to detail. Breakfast was splendid in her delightful garden room. Would definitely go again. We stayed over our son’s graduation and it was lovely to have somewhere to go back to which was so pleasant after such a wonderful day.

We were attending a wedding at a nearby venue and were struggling to find hotels that offered family rooms. We were lcky enough to find Charnwood Regency Guest House who were more than helpful. Our room was spacious and clean, and the breakfast was lovely. Staff were friendly and accommodating and the decor was lovely. We'd be happy to stay here again!

Clear communication for self check-in, gorgeous clean, bright property. Lots of little touches such as home made biscuits. If we were ever back in this area, would definitely stay again but book the room with the hot tub!

This was a Christmas gift to my daughters and their husbands. Just one night stay so that they could have a rest from the kids and a lie in. Everything they needed was under one roof. Cosy, open fires, beautiful clean rooms and comfy beds, gorgeous food and a perfect breakfast. They told me that the staff were really friendly and welcoming and they didn't want to leave. I'd like to thank The Star for being such a good choice .
