I really enjoyed my stay at Carolyn and John’s lodge. The welcoming atmosphere was lovely, and the beds and shower were clean. Carolyn prepared a delightful breakfast. I felt like I was visiting distant family. I highly recommend this place for a stay.

Claire was an exceptional host. Nothing was too much trouble despite a last minute change to the booking. Lovely extra touches in the bedroom with fresh orange juice, milk and biscuits. Spotlessly clean room and bathroom. Comfortable beds. Lovely warm room on a chilly night with heated towel rail in the bathroom.

    Lovely cottage, comfortable bed, clean linen and towels. Plenty of clothing storage. Kitchen well stocked and clean (although I was visiting family so didn't use much). Quiet location unfortunately spoilt by other guest.

    The studio was very well presented, clean and had all facilities you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. The location was very quiet down a stoned drive just round the back of the main house, there is private parking just outside the gate which is great piece of mind if you have a vehicle.
