A very, very nice place to stay, lovely location, with fantastic views. Very accommodating to personal dietary requirements. I would recommend Lovaton Farm to anyone looking to stay in or around Okehampton. And they accept dogs, too.

Lovely old pub in the middle of town. I had an upstairs “loft” bedroom which was very comfortable and gave me a nice sense of privacy. had everything I needed. staff were also great. I am on a cycle trip and they were very helpful in finding me safe storage for overnight. they also gave me a quick (but delicious) breakfast so I could get on the road.

Lovely old fashion country pub. The landlady couldn't be more friendly and welcoming and the food was big portions and lovely, what a great experience. Thank you I will be back.

Outstanding food, some of the best meals we have had in Devon. The Venison was sublime and the steak was just the best steak ever, desserts were just wow! The actual Inn was the cosiest and full of history and mystery! Overall a superb place to eat and sleep, staff were very friendly and very hardworking, A really great place to stay. We stayed New Years Eve. We had booked a room and advised we were vegan. We had the most fantastic meal, so many courses, such great flavours. The chef asked what sort of food we liked in advance and the meal was superb. We will be back. The staff team were attentive and very nice. We felt well looked after.

The location was amazing, in the middle of meadows with lovely animals. Peacocks were the best companions ever! Great breakfasts, clean and spacious room and bathroom with both bathtub and shower. Very peaceful place for people who seek for relax. The best stay of our whole journey.

We got a very welcome feeling and although we arrived after the kitchen was closed it was opened for us and what a beef fillet we got served.
