Bel and The Dragon is an exceptional country Inn. We loved the decor, the comfortable room and bed, the guest lounge, the amazing food and the service from the staff was exemplary. From the general manager all the way to the cleaners, we were made to feel so welcome. We would stay again and again, such a shame we don’t live closer. If you come across this gorgeous Inn, just book it, you will not be disappointed.

Large spacious well appointed room with large bathroom. Friendly staff, who enjoyed their job therefore spoke highly of the area and its history. Great suggestions for local attractions. Best place we stayed at. Pleased to have found this hidden gem.

    Excellent staff, room and food. We stayed for two nights and both breakfast and the evening meals were delicious and plentiful. This is a great location for seeing the local area and the Gin tour (bus stops are literally two minutes walk). Overton is a beautiful village with its babbling chalk stream.

    Absolutely blown away with the size of the bed and especially the huge shower/en suite bathroom!! The room was so welcoming and warm. Very quiet location. Situated right next to the White Hart so easily accessible for a meal or drink. The Inn is right in the centre of the village so great location for all the shops. It's also so full of character due to its age. Cannot WAIT to visit again.

    The hotel is quaint and well appointed. Our room faced the street and it was noisy until about midnight and a bit hot but there was a nice fan in the room. Room was really spacious and the kilner bottles with water were a nice touch. We didn’t have any nespresso capsules although there was a machine in the room. The linens and towels were lovely the decor throughout was charming, The staff were really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was made to order and delicious.
