Friendly, helpful hosts. They gave us the dining room facilities, so we could eat our own food for an evening meal. Quiet, private surroundings. We were given a truly warm welcome.

This was a studio-like apartment, with basic facilities provided. It is about 7 - 10-minute drive to the train station and a 28-minute walk if you feel up to it. You can walk through the city centre and by the cathedral to the location. It is close to an eatery and ASDA, so sourcing groceries was easy. There was a TV and Wi-Fi. There's a large garden if you want to relax. Claudine and her husband were great hosts, and also gave some privacy. I would definitely come back again.
