Such a shame that I had to move on after just one night. Can't decide which was lovelier: the cottage itself, the hosts, the cosy garden or the delicious breakfast. It was just all great and I felt immediately welcomed once I stepped through the door. Absolutely recommended. :)

We would thoroughly recommend a stay at The Great House. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to make our stay as enjoyable and relaxing as possible. The house itself has been beautifully restored by the owners, and the decor is elegant with warmth and charm. VERY comfortable bed, too! The Great House is conveniently located for exploring Exmoor.
