Everything was as described but better. Stayed here with my 85 year old Mum for two nights. View from our room was amazing. All staff were so welcoming. Breakfast delicious.

This was a gem of a property!!!!! I would rate it 5 Stars. The room was beautiful, very English country style with the most comfortable bed. The en-suite came with a bath which was a real pleasant surprise. The real treat were the hosts, Andy and Tanya, prior to my stay I had lots of communication with them. I was doing an ultra bike race so I was just going to get there, sleep a few hours and leave in the early hours. Andy and Tanya made me a cook to order breakfast when I arrived at 7.30pm and made me a takeaway ham sandwich with a few treats for my journey onwards, which I really needed as there’s not many shops open where my race route was taking me at that hour in the morning. The next time I return, it will be a more leisurely stay to really enjoy this quintessential Country House.

    Huge room, very quiet location. Amazing bathroom in Heddon room. Exceptional breakfast. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Loved the private sauna. Incredible views from the room.

    This charming property was beautifully presented with exceptional attention to detail. Very helpful and welcoming hosts. Neil and Tyrone have put so much thought, love and care into this beautiful Bed and Breakfast. The food was delicious. Plenty of choice. Very very comfortable rooms. So clean everywhere. I cannot recommend this place enough. We absolutely loved it and will definitely be coming back in the future. Thank you guys for your hospitality. We really felt spoilt
