Very spacious and clean. The bedrooms were huge. Nice new bathroom. Separate lounge with sofa and dining table. Location was excellent, right in the middle of Appleby, but the apartment was very quiet.

Host, Leon was excellent from start to finish. He was welcoming, conversational and couldn't do enough to make our stay better. The cooked to order breakfast was outstanding, I think his wife gets the credit for that 😁. Room was comfortable and the little extras, tea, coffee, biscuits and chilled water were all spot on. Would definitely stay there again if in Penrith. Well run place with a great host.

Gorgeous bnb located in a great location, for anyone wanting to explore ullswater or walking helvellyn and surrounding peaks. Comfy beds in a clean and cosy room. Great breakfast to set you up for your day ahead and the offer of sandwiches to be made for your next day. Would stay again.

Very nice quiet room at the back of the house, away from the busy street the B&B is on. Good bed, good bathroom and very nice personal touches by the host, like bathrobes, flower decorations and fresh scones on arrival. Good breakfast in nice breakfast room. Great host. Near to the town centre.
