We also stay at the Two Life Boats when in Sheringham. The staff are wonderful, friendly and always accommodating. We choose to eat dinner and have drinks in the restaurant too. Love waking up to the view and sounds of the sea!

A bonus the room was on the ground floor where I could park my motorcycle right outside my room. Lovely easy walk to the waterfront and the main street with varied choices of restaurants. Breakfast choices were good.

Byford's occupies the oldest building in Holt, which reflects in its ambience and character. The staff were always helpful and on hand should we require it. The timing of breakfast service was up to 2pm and was classed as brunch, which meant that everything available on the restaurant brunch menu for the general public, was also available to residents and included in the price. Byford's is also in the centre of Holt and within walking distance of all shops, restaurants, cafe's (of which there are many to choose from) and a variety of speciality establishments including art and craft galleries.

    The location was outside Sheringham (quiet) but an easy 15 minute walk to the town, bus stop, railway station and (if you want to) Steam Railway. Ian mentioned that bus travel is very cheap, so we went everywhere by bus and train. Breakfasts were very nice and (although it was outside our room), there was a cold drinking facility and a fridge with cold milk for each room. The room was spotless and we had a nice view over the front garden. Christine and Ian was excellent hosts.

    Good location great parking meet with the host soon as we got there went through the details went straight to our room very helpful lovely inside thinking it was small from the outside but had many rooms very quiet and comfortable very welcoming excellent breakfast to set you up for the day

    A lovely house in a great location, so quiet and peaceful. Christine and Ian are great hosts, welcoming and friendly. We had a lovely clean room and a great ensuite with a walk in shower. Breakfast was delicious with lots of choice , the home made bread was lovely.

    lovely period home in a great location . quiet and 15 min walk to town centre . very comfortable en-suite room (crab) good modern shower excellent breakfast with locally sourced ingredients, the team @ picaroons are very helpful and friendly and was great to chat about life in the B&B . would def stay again when next in sheringham .
