Our host was friendly and helpful, making a tasty and generous full English breakfast for us every morning, which we greatly appreciated. He readily supplied us with whatever we needed. Good location near the highway to explore the sights in the area, including the Cotswolds, Bath, Oxford, Stonehenge, etc. The room was basic but comfortable and spotlessly clean. In the common dining room, a fridge and a microwave were available for use at any time.

The wide range of fresh local sourced products from both in the restaurant as the store. The room was decorated creatively, someone really put some thought behind it. In addition, you also get acces to a communal living room with kitchen, which was a great bonus. The kitchen staff knew what they were doing and the people behind the bar were friendly and attentive.

Our go to spot when staying in the area, always lives up to expectations. Location is perfect for travelling to Faringdon, and trip into town is inconsequential. Breakfast is good when you wake up early enough to get it :), finishing at 0900 on weekdays, Lovely bae to wind down on an evening.

The service is impeccable. The host is kind, caring, and accommodating. The atmosphere is warm and cozy, yet very professional. You see a real family setting mixing with the bucolic setting, resulting in this beautiful business rich in potential. There were a few dead flies/bugs. For me, it is NOT a problem, but someone might be naive enough not to expect them. I much rather prefer this that having any anti-flies products around the place!

Close to the highway, a large parking lot, an interesting restaurant and a large garden. Very pleasant staff. The room is clean, tidy, the bed is comfortable. This is one of those places that really pays off.
