After a trip of many hours by bus from London through Scotland, to discover the hotel and its fantastic owner was a treat by itself. She was so friendly, helpful and funny that it will definitely be the place we would recommend in Thurso to sleep in. Friends of environment and sustainable development be welcome, as there is a whole guide in the rooms on how the place is trying to keep the world a better place, as well as advice on what to discover around you.

It was by far the best b&b. The room was cozy with a wonderful view on the countryside and a peeking on the coast. I loved how the host furnished and decorated each room, the peace of the place and the warm welcome we received. The b&b is conveniently located on the NC500, about 10 minutes to Thurso by car and it has a lot of parking space in the front. The breakfast was a fresh, homemade English breakfast, DELICIOUS!

The owner of the property was so nice that I almost felt at home as soon as I arrived. They even offered us a free ride to the ferry terminal early in the morning after hearing that we couldn’t find a cab in time. The room was cozy and very clean, and the full Scottish breakfast was very generous and delicious. We had an excellent stay and would like to return later.

Jane and Richard were one of the best B&B host we have ever encountered. Truly hospitable. We were served tea n snacks upon arrival and delicious breakfast before we left. Our only regret was just staying a night with them.
