The room was outstanding. Roomy, clean, comfortable beds, opening windows with cushioned seats in them, and an exceptional bathroom. Coffee and tea making facilities that included fresh coffee and a press, as well as a thermos with milk. Very friendly people, good food, although, due to a busy Sunday the Cheeseburger was sold out, but that always makes me happy as they then do not come out of a freezer. Breakfast was perfect. Many choices, even up to a Bloody Mary if you are in need of one :-) Location right next to a road (hey, it is an inn...), ample parking and very close to Stourhead House. Also an easy couple of hours from Dover which makes it a nice target for your first or last night in Britain.

Amazing place with very nice staff, especially Hermony, the manager - Thank you for your kindness :-) I was lucky to have stayed on Friday when the restaurant was open for dinner. The food was amazingly delicious and sophisticated. They have a good bar (free house) as well. And I had the best Full English Breakfast I have ever had in my life. Highly recommend this hotel. You want to stay here because Stourhead Garden is especially quiet and picturesque with less visitors after 4 p.m. and before 10 a.m..And the entrance to the garden's best spot is right next to this hotel.

We loved everything about our stay in North Cadbury. The house is absolutely stunning and the location was close to everything we wanted to see. Tamsin and James were really helpful with restaurant suggestions and places to visit. The breakfast each morning was delicious. We couldn’t be happier with our choice of accommodation. If you are interested in visiting Somerset I highly recommend staying at the Grange!!!

My wife liked it because the bedroom was hot. It was like an oven. We could have turned the radiator off, but in winter it was nice to not be cold. Staff were great.

Deb, the host, is one of the nicest hosts we ever had. She was utterly friendly, helpful, nice and the breakfast she made for us was to die for! We felt like we were in a 5* hotel and at the same time at a cozy cottage with a family member. Country chic and charme describes the location best. You sleep in absolute silence and wake up to the sound of birds chirping. There is no traffic, the only thing crossing our way while walking to the local pub was a deer! It's also closely located to touristic attractions such as Stonehenge and Stourhead. Bear, Deb's dog, was the cherry on the cake to our stay!
