I had an amazing stay at Herman Pondok Nyodok in Lombok and would easily give it five stars. The accommodation is beautifully nestled among rice fields with mountains in the background, creating an incredibly peaceful and scenic environment. Since it’s tucked away from the main road, there’s no traffic noise. Just the calming sounds of nature as you walk down a small path to reach the house. The place is quite new and still being developed. They're currently adding a small community kitchen, which will be great for making coffee or light meals. The Wi-Fi is super stable and fast. Perfect for remote workers. Everything is simple and humble, which adds to the charm and reflects the authentic, laid-back vibe of Lombok. Herman and his family are incredibly kind and welcoming. I immediately felt at home. They rent motorbikes and bicycles at fair prices, and Herman is happy to help organize tours and transportation around the island. He offers free english lessons to children as well and you are welcome to join and teach if you like. If you're looking for a quiet, authentic, and friendly place to stay while exploring Lombok, this is a true hidden gem. I’ll definitely come back!

I stayed at this place for almost a month and it was one of the best places I've stayed this year. The bed, pillows and sheets are very comfortable, the facilities are brand new, everything is always very clean, and the air conditioning is perfect. Joseph and his family always think of every detail, from the excellent tips on what to do and where to eat in Kuta, to helping us arrange transfers and tours. Communication with Joseph is always very fast and he is always very available. For those who work remotely: the wifi is perfect (1 router per floor). The silence and peace of this place are incredible. I highly recommend it and I already miss this perfect place! I felt like home ✨

This was one of the nicest accommodations we had in our 5 weeks in Indonesia! Thomas the host and the rest of the staff is super nice and helpful. The breakfast is amazing and the rooms extremely nice and well equipped. Also Thomas and his team are working hard to remove plastic trash from the streets in the neighbourhood and even organise trash pickups and beach cleanups. I can 100% recommend coming here, you will not regret it!

We loved our stay here... Beautiful room with a comfy bed and a great hot shower. Breakfast was amazing. You can walk 15 min to Kuta center but if you want to go surfing you better take a motobike. For us it was perfect, we had a bike and at night we could have a good rest in a peaceful environment. And all that for this price, would totally recommend!
