I recently stayed at Wave House in Gerupuk and had an amazing time thanks to the hospitality of the host, Russel. He went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was comfortable and safe, and his staff was equally helpful in organizing a scooter for me and serving delicious breakfast. The accommodation was impeccably clean and well-maintained, and I was pleasantly surprised to find that there was a hot shower, which is not so common in Gerupuk. The wifi was also very stable and fast, which was important to me as I was working during my stay and had no problem connecting to the internet. I would highly recommend Wave House to anyone visiting Gerupuk and would definitely stay here again if I have the chance. Thank you, Russel, for making my stay at Wave House so enjoyable!

I had an amazing stay at Herman Pondok Nyodok in Lombok and would easily give it five stars. The accommodation is beautifully nestled among rice fields with mountains in the background, creating an incredibly peaceful and scenic environment. Since it’s tucked away from the main road, there’s no traffic noise. Just the calming sounds of nature as you walk down a small path to reach the house. The place is quite new and still being developed. They're currently adding a small community kitchen, which will be great for making coffee or light meals. The Wi-Fi is super stable and fast. Perfect for remote workers. Everything is simple and humble, which adds to the charm and reflects the authentic, laid-back vibe of Lombok. Herman and his family are incredibly kind and welcoming. I immediately felt at home. They rent motorbikes and bicycles at fair prices, and Herman is happy to help organize tours and transportation around the island. He offers free english lessons to children as well and you are welcome to join and teach if you like. If you're looking for a quiet, authentic, and friendly place to stay while exploring Lombok, this is a true hidden gem. I’ll definitely come back!

We had a wonderful stay here! It’s a great place to stay, recently renovated, in a quiet location, and still very accessible. The beach and the cnetre of Kuta is only a 20-minute walk away or 3 minutes by scooter. The owners are incredibly friendly and helpful, they really went out of their way to assist us. Good price-quality accommodation, modest but warm. The host just opened his homestay, and we were warmly welcomed by his family with tea and a local snack. The accommodation is located near a small village, close to waterfalls, and the way there is a real treat driving through the rice fields of Lombok.
