Sandro, the owner and host, was charming and most considerate. The seven ladies on his staff, whether they were cleaners or chefs, were all super friendly and helpful. The historic building has been beautifully restored and is located in the countryside above Folognia in the center of Umbrian hill towns. Topping it off were the lambs, sheep, goats, cats, chickens, and goose in the barnyard. Breakfast was the same daily but was high quality and included the best cappuccino and cafe Americano of our trip. Saving the best for last was the dinners which were 4 course gourmet meals with excellent wines produced on the farm, all at a very reasonable price. Don't hesitate!

    The room was EXTREMELY clean and the owner super sweet and helpful. It is a really good place to stay if you looking for a quiet escape from the Rome City Center. The room had everything you need from hair dryer to cutlery and a small fridge. In the hallway there's also a washing machine, which comes quite handy if you're only traveling with small luggage.
