The location is in a quiet part of the city but a very short walk right into the main part of the city. Erik and Alice are superb hosts. They made sure I had everything I needed and responded quickly to any questions I had. I felt safe and cared for by Gli Arcani! I will stay here again when I return to Orvieto, if rooms are available! Thank you, Erik and Alice!

This was a great apartment for the three of us - one very spacious master bedroom and an additional bedroom area. Very nicely equipped kitchen for simple meals, and a grocer two doors down. Everything was clean and worked well and more than anything was just very warm and welcoming and bright. The location was great, and right by their Duomo and museums and restaurants of this historic town. So glad we visited and we definitely want to return!

It was a really nice surprise to be located in a village of roses, the host also had a beautiful garden with them. The rooms were artistic with a lot of amenities. The host was sincerely kind, friendly and brought us even a home-made focaccia, because we arrived late and didn't have the energy to go out for dinner. The quaint town with roses has a fantastic view to Orvieto. We are definitely coming again.

This place is unbelievable--right in the heart of Orvieto and very nicely appointed and well kept. Francesca was a great host and our only regret is that we only stayed one night. We will. be back to make this the base for our next exploration of Orvieto and surrounding area.

The Locanda Palazzone is a really unique property in that it’s a 13th Century farmhouse that has been thoroughly gutted and modernized. As a result, the rooms and spaces are spacious, visually clean and comfortable. Most rooms are two story loft style with dramatic windows, but one room is all one level level (recommended for older travelers). The staff is really friendly and go out of their way to make sure you are well fed, organized and comfortable. Additionally, the beds are firm, toiletries luxurious (they remind me of Hermes), and the property itself sits in a winery with an amazing view.

    Spotlessly clean, comfortable and in a great location with the bonus of a cute little balcony. Very comfortable bed and a modern bathroom. Our room had a sofa bed for my daughter which Valentina kindly made up for us before we arrived. Nice quiet street but close (easy walking distance) to everything. Would definitely stay here the next time I’m in Orvieto. They can also provide secure parking nearby.

    The location was perfect close to everything, the owner was very charming and staff also. I enjoyed my time. Orvieto is built on caves very unique and this also applied to the accomodation the restaurant is also amazing. I stayed in the studio which was quaint and had its own balcony, I was able to prepare my own food in the kitchenette and enjoy on the private balcony, superb. Small but perfect.

    Such a cool experience! The location is prime and accessible to anything I wanted- but it was tucked into a quiet and secure area. The hosts/owners were so helpful and available if I needed. The room was spacious and comfy - that bed was amazing! I love how I had the privacy of my own room but a communal area if I chose to use it. Highly recommend this cute boutique hotel. It was very comfortable, safe, private and central. Thank you for such a memorable experience in Orvieto.
