The garden is a wonderful, peaceful place. The fact that you can park the car inside is perfect as my car was rented. The area is not ideal for tourism, but close to the “Circumvesuviana” that takes you to Sorrento if you don’t want to use the car. Giovanna is a perfect host, she speaks excellent English as she is a teacher. Being winter I was concerned about the temperature in the room, but the temperature was perfect and for summer the air conditioning unit is in the room, so now thinking about going back in summer.

It couldn’t be any better. Right in the centre bars and restaurants right outside and yet from our room it was completely peaceful. Room was very clean, bed comfortable. Really can’t fault it at all

The location is excellent. Very close to one of the entrances to the archaeological site and with a lot of restaurants nearby. The room was also impeccably clean, good sized and well equipped. It provided all the comfort we needed after a long travelling day. Arianna is super nice and very helpful. We were very well received and Domus Balcante is surely a great option for anyone who is visiting Pompei.
