We recently had the pleasure of staying at a delightful guest house, and I couldn't be happier with our experience. We loved everything. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcome. The genuine care and hospitality were evident. The location is perfect, and our room was very clean and tastefully decorated. Monica was an absolutely beautiful welcoming host! She was always quick to respond to messages/queries. It was a great novelty staying in the walls of the village of Castiglione but having a stunning garden with views of sunset and sunrise from on top of a turret was so spectacular. My 8yo loved running around smelling all the roses. It was so nice to soak up the sun with a view of the lake and surrounding countryside while eating breakfast (which was delicious and substantial). Monica generously offered an adjoining room for us when my husband was a last minute addition. The rooms were clean with a modern bathroom. It was easy access to free parking (Monica will let you know where) and it was close to everything - admittedly the village is tiny but it was peaceful and quiet being away from the main area.

Central location, two-minute walk from Cortona main square. Extremely helpful lady in charge (Google Translate necessary for English, but she's adorable). First ever perfect, stable WiFi in Italy :) Good heating, suitable for my November trip, this was not always the case at other locations.

Luxurious apartment in a perfect spot to enjoy the delights of this lovely town. Eating breakfast from the beautiful breakfast table right over the Porte, looking down the old street with the church just nearby was a highlight. Closely followed by drinks on our private terrace overlooking the lake. Hosts were exceptional.
