Everyday we had cooked breakfast made by Masae-san who checked when we would like to have breakfast. It was absolutely tasty, personalised and prepared by her at the holiday house. She offered to take us on a guided walk around the area. The main reason to stay here is Masae-san. One can see that she enjoys hosting people. There was home made cake, and other thoughtful gestures to make our stay comfortable. She even called around to make sure we had up-to-date traffic information. On the last day we had to leave really early in the morning and so told her not to bother with breakfast. She came over and gave us packed breakfast saying she's a morning person. It's a fantastic option if you want to unwind and get pampered.

Everything was perfect, very clean and very friendly host. But a fair warning for those who are doing the Shikoku-Pilgrimage for the first time: The lights might go on at 4:30 (no joke) and the pilgrims could be very loud to motivate themselves for the day. Keep that in mind :)

Older, but clean and cosy authentic japanese house. It felt like a visit to grandma’s home. Also the owner was very nice lady. Just everything we were looking for - something authentic, away from tourists and big cities. The town and its people are also very welcoming.

The property was very clean and tidy, everything was so seamless and smooth without having to worry about the checkin procedure because the owner explained it to you clearly. The extra effort from the owner to try reach me through booking.com messages and whatsapp (it’s quite not normal of japanese to use whatsapp) and explain the check-in procedure. On top of that I left my chest heart monitor during my stay, and they gone all above and beyond to deliver it back to Tokyo through Kuroneko. A very good place to stay if you are on a budget, and their hospitality and prompt response is even faster than your normal 3-4 star hotel. Would definitely stay here again if I have the chance to come to Tokushima

The room was spacious and very clean. I had a great view on the temple facilities, near buy. The Tennant was awesome, friendly, and full of advice. Please, ask her to get a massage. She will recommend a friend of hers who is an absolute magician! The kitchen is full of equipment you may need.

I was very late because I had problems arriving, so I was coming at 1:30 at night instead of 21:00 the evening before. The owner still was very friendly and explained how to find everything. I recommend this place

It was nice to have an entire place to ourselves and several bunk options so we could space out. All the options of games, books, music and gaming consoles is awesome but we didn't know how to connect the devices up (a manual would be nice).
