Really lovely couple running this newly renovated guest house. So kind, friendly and helpful. We stayed there for one night before hiking around Mt. Aso. Great location if you’re looking for a stop on a road trip in Kyushu. Bring cash!

A wonderful host and home. We stayed in a room that accommodated 4 people in Japanese styled bedrooms. A traditional home, it was a beautiful experience. The hostess was so helpful, accommodating and warm. She helped ensure we had the best stay and got to know the local restaurants and shops. Would stay here again!

The owner has kept the facility and room very clean. He also spoke good English so communication was easy. The water self-service was convenient. The view from our room was breathtaking - we arrived on a rainy day, the mountains were misty and foggy in a beautiful way. It's close to the Shrine and a supermarket, very convenient.
