Loved summer hiking from this beautiful mountain lodge to escape the city heat. 3 minutes walk to bus service with access to multiple trailheads throughout Shiga Kogen. The owners create such a welcoming cosy space to escape - thoughtful, stylish, beautifully presented. Incredible quality in a home-feel environment. Private in-house onsen, superb home cooked meals. Highly recommend both breakfast and dinner (best decision)!

This guesthouse was a cool place to stay. I enjoyed the guesthouse and their staff. I had a great time talking with the other guests and the staff in the living room. The location is good because it's near the train station and the bed is comfortable.
