When I first made the reservation, I thought it would be inconvenient to use a shared shower, but since I thought it was my home, there was no burden. I especially appreciate and praise the patience and kindness of the Korean-speaking person. It feels cleaner and more considerate than any other lodging.

Wonderful and very generous people. I was stuck in Yufuin due to heavy rains. They took care of me so much. Thanks to both of you from the bottom of my heart. Would like to stay there every time I visit Yufuin. Take Care, Tachikawa san and Hoaki san. Missing Bobby chan and Na chan.

Good breakfast. A little green, potatosalat, crossaint, yugurt and two sausages. You reserve the onsens, but that means you can bath the way you like with your family.. mixed or not. The ryokan staff was super friendly, the head proposed to drive us to a nice spot for free and explain a little bit about yufuin. The place also offered pickup service and you can pay them to drive you elsewhere.

The value you get for this price is fantastic, this lovely nook exceeded my expectations. First, the location is superb - the hostel is close to both the Beppu train station and the Kitahama bus terminal, as well as a gorgeous hidden little passageway with vintage aesthetic cafes and bars. Second, the wide common room (+ kitchen) on the first floor is extremely cozy, the furnishing is lovely, and it can be used at any time of the day. This was very important and convenient to me as I often make phone calls during my travels and this common space allowed me to do so at odd hours without disturbing other guests. Third, the staff members I interacted with were extremely kind and helpful. Definitely made the stay even more enjoyable! Last but not least, I was very pleasantly surprised by how spacious the bathroom and shower in the female dormitory were! I absolutely recommend this place to anybody looking for a relaxing vacation.
