Facilities (wifi and hot shower) work very well. Joe, the host has proper coffee (he grinds the beans fresh — something that you can hardly find around here), and cooks a simple but yummy breakfast every morning. Joe made an incredible effort to connect with us during our time with him. His genuineness, kindness and friendship, we cherish very much! Not to mention, he has 2 cute adopted dogs Boron and Jay, which he makes an effort to keep outdoors in case any guests have allergies.

Immaculate, yet soft and warm and homely. Japanese, Kyrgyz, and international. Built on a deep understanding of travelling and tourism. I was a little sceptical at some of the reviews. After spending time with the people who made this guest house, brick by brick, and who run and manage it, I am really in awe at them, and better understand the offer they make. Breakfast is exceptional. Light, bright, clean design and linens etc. Also, very knowledgable about the area, amongst other things!

This property was well located, with restaurants, cafes and interesting sites all within walking distance. We loved our hosts Sergei, Ljuba and Bella, who made us feel very welcome - and with a bit of Google Translate to help us with our Russian, they made us feel totally at home. Our room with private bathroom was quirky, comfortable and clean, and perfect for our needs while visiting Karakol.
