Our stay was exceptional. The location was quiet and away from the hustle and bustle. However, the availability of transport was great. Buses went past the door frequently and taxis were quickly available with a phone call. The accommodation was really great and so clean in the rooms. As the property is fairly new, the bedding and bathroom facilities were great. The owner was so attentive to our needs in the accommodation. Often going out of her way in recommending the area tourist attractions and local restaurants. Even to the point of assisting us to reach the destination. To cap everything off, we discovered the owner made the best, yes the best coffee in Tongyeong. We will not hesitate in staying there again and recommending to our friends.

I really enjoyed my stay at Hago Guest House: not only was the accommodation really good, but (most importantly) the owner was also extremely friendly and more than willing to help. I especially liked the breakfast part of the day, due to both the delicious toasts made by the host and the thoroughly enjoyable conversations I had with her every morning. I will definitely not fail to book a room at Hago Guest House should I go to Tongyeong again in the future!

Quiet neighbourhood but close to so many good eateries. We were able to walk to the luge / cable car as well as the city center (40mins). Large spacious room with high ceiling and large windows. Beds were comfortable and room clean. The host ws beyond excellent. They took such good care of our family. We had such a wonderful stay and wish we had spent more time there

Tong Stay is super clean and very easy to find. If you walk down the mountain after the cable car trip, you will just run into it! Also, a walking distance from the underwater tunnel.

A wonderful guesthouse! Actually my favourite place I stayed out of several on my trip. Very welcoming host who was super helpful. Peaceful location, with beautiful garden. Very easy to get to on public transport or a 30 minute walk to harbour area using under sea tunnel. Right by cable car for Mireuksan.

The big room with its fabulous views is unbeatable. The owners went way beyond what one would expect, giving us information about buses, water and fruit, and a ride back to the bus terminal the day we left. Some people may think the place is a bit out of the way, but it was really easy to walk to the stop for the local bus. When it was dark, we took a taxi back from the centre of town, which cost a mere 5000 won. There are also a couple of restaurants in walking distance and a 7-eleven, which among other things has frozen meals you can warm up in the microwave.
