We had a wonderful stay! The place is very clean, cozy, and comfortable. Everything feels modern and convenient, with a digital code for the door, which made check-in and access super easy. Great location within walking distance to bars, restaurants, and the Gold Souk market. Highly recommend and would love to come back again! 🌿✨

loved my stay! Dr. Milo is a wonderful host, super friendly and welcoming. The place has such a cozy, warm vibe and is perfectly located right in the heart of Byblos. Michel the owner has renovated a 100+ year old family home into a wonderfully intriguing place to stay. The upper level of the Ottoman-style house retains it original decor and furnishings, including high painted ceilings. The guest rooms are downstairs, and accessible from the garden. Each is a vaulted stone cellar that used to house olive oil and provisions, and all have been uniquely and interestingly furnished. Our double room was beautifully lit and well laid out, with a large comfortable bed, and a small shower and bathroom ingeniously fitted into the corners. The thermostatically controlled heating register was also much appreciated, as it was a cold night in March when we stayed. Wifi was very weak, but this was not an issue (indeed, it was nice to be off-grid for a night). We enjoyed dinner in a restaurant a short walk away, and were pleased with the fresh fruit provided in our room (Stone Cellars does not offer breakfast). A small local supermarket is also located next door.
