We eventually stayed 5 nights, because we liked it so much! A very clean bungalow with a terrace, big double bed, mosquito net, AC, hot shower.. we slept fantastic. Iqbal, the manager was very helpful, sharing tips, prices and spoiled us with panipol (sri lanka pancakes) in the morning.

The property is very homely, the room is big and very clean. The staff is the best, always helpful and smiling. Nisha has made us feel at home, we had an amazing time! The breakfast is great, it changes everyday. The location is 10 minutes walk from the centre but you have restaurants and bars all around. If you surf, main point is 10 minutes by tuk tuk or you have another spot called the wedge just in front of the guest house. It is great to be outside of the crowd of the main road as you can’t hear noises and have a great sleep.

The hotel is situated on a side road so you do not hear the constant noise of cars and restaurants on the main street. Still, it is very close to everything ( a couple of minutes walk to the beach and main street). Our host gave us a lot of recommendations of where to eat and rent surfs, which all turned out to be great. He also took care of our laundry and was very helpful and a delightful person. Definitely very good value for money in Arugam Bay, I would stay here again.

Amazing place to stay in Arugam Bay! Apple- the host is a total legend. He went above and beyond to help us and made sure we had a fantastic time during our stay.     We loved everything about this place! The staff is something else - so kind, helpful and welcoming. They make the best breakfast with everything one could dream of :-) Thanks to you three for making our one week stay so memorable. Besides that the location of the hotel was priceless: close to everything (the beach, restaurants etc.) yet so quiet and private. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Arugam Bay! And we’d love to come back.
