The owner was very nice to me. He offered me free drining water and arranged it himself. Two times I got lost, I couldn't find my way to the guest house, since it's a bit further inside from the main road. He was very kind to come and pick me with his motorcycle. The room and toilet was newly built and clean. AC was working perfectly fine, although during night I didn't need it. The bed was comfortable and huge. He also provided me with cutleries when I needed. There's public transport available to Pollonaruwa 10 minutes walking distance from the place. Getting a Tuktuk might be a bit challenging.

Lovely hosts, they helped organise transportation for us to and from Pidurangala rock for sunrise as well as a car from their home stay to our next location, Kandy. Our safari was also suggested and arranged for us by our hosts. The little things go a long way. We arrived in a downpour and our hosts very kindly met us both by the cars with umbrellas whilst they helped us with our bags. Breakfast was delicious, too and we were enjoyed having dinner with the hosts on the first evening we arrived. When staying at Yashi’s place, you must visit the Lady Cafe at the end of the road - this was a great recommendation by the host and the best food we had throughout our whole trip in Sri Lanka. The room was large and clean. The gardens surrounding Yashi’s place were beautiful - we especially enjoyed seeing the peacocks in the trees as we ate our meals!

This is an absolutely lovely, family-run guesthouse. The cabin is completely new, with a comfortable porch and lovely details inside, such as the row of plants in the bathroom. Chathuri and Gayan are great hosts, very attentive, and they helped us with both big and small requests throughout our stay. We did the safari with Gayan to Kaudulla park and could not be happier. Chaturi also put us in touch with a great tuk-tuk driver, Nimesh, to go to Polonnaruwa and spend the day. Breakfasts were delicious and with plenty of food! The location is great, close to the main road, but in a quiet area. We also appreciated the mosquito net in the cabin, which allowed us to sleep with an open window, letting the cool night air in. I simply can not say enough good things about this guesthouse - 100% recommended! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

The host Kalahara is kind and helpful and treats guests as his family.Nothing is too much for him. PROPERTY: Lovely homestay surrounded by trees and lovely garden.The room was spotlessly clean, spacious and airy. All the facilities like hot water, airconditioning, water pressure etc was perfect. BREAKFAST:Our breakfast was included and it was the best we had in Srilanka.Its varied everyday and its plentiful and very tasty.(SEE PHOTOS) We had 2 dinners cooked by his wife and they were delicious and generous portions. TOURS: Host Kalhara will organize tours at reasonable rate and his driver is a very nice person. we did a tour and driver was very patient and took us around paddy fields. Our stay here was perfect, we arrived late at night and they managed to organise anyway an amazing dinner for us. The room was extremely clean and spacious and the common area are perfect to relax after a long day!
