After a month traveling in Sri Lanka, this has been the best place we have stayed. Located in a quiet place, The house is very big and beautiful. Both the room and the bathroom are huge. The bed is big and very comfortable. Everything was super clean. Ashan and his family are lovely, they helped us and gave us information of what we needed. The breakfast was plentiful and varied (every day we tried different dishes). I totally recommend this stay if you come to Galle (the city is 15 minutes by tuktuk).

Super friendly people! We felt at home for our entire stay. Breakfast was good and tasty. Room was extremely clean and we loved our little 4 legged dog friend Max. If you don't pet him, he'll leave you alone. If you give him attention, you will get love from him. Wifi was good as well. Bonus tip: if you love playing Padel, there is a padelclub "Tropicpadel" 1 minute from the hotel. In our 4 day stay I played 2 matches there. If you want, you can also book lessons there. Furthermore, the hotel is in a very good location from which you can see everything near unawatuna. Restaurants close by, shops close by, beach close by. If you would like to have a pool day you can book that reasonably cheap at Araliya beach club which is also on 1 minute walking distance.

My friend and I recently had the pleasure of staying at Deltora Villa and I can confidently say it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we stepped through the door, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and hospitality by the owners. Throughout our stay, the owners provided us with exceptional service, going above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of our visit was perfect. They were incredibly attentive to our needs and ensuring that we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The accommodation itself was comfortable, clean, and well-appointed, providing the perfect backdrop for our adventures in the area. But it was the exceptional service provided by the owners that truly made our stay unforgettable. I cannot recommend Deltora Villa highly enough to fellow travelers, especially friends looking for a memorable getaway. Thank you to the owners for an incredible experience – we can't wait to return!

The family was really frendly. The owner took the time to drive is to the town to bye some srilankan spises and gifts. She made us srilankan tea and really tasty meals. We also took cooking class which was very fun for the whole family. The place is really nice decorated and the best bed. The room was climated and we could use the kitchen. We would come again and they have our recommendation.

We liked that the accomodation has a washing machine. The breakfast was nice too on a quiet terrace in the jungle. We would definitely visit Turtle Lamp again if we go back to Sri Lanka.
