Beautiful accommodation. Spacious rooms, a comfortable common area and a bit tucked away from the busy streets which was great. We slept really well and also all the staff was very caring. An excellent place – very close to the center of the tourist area, yet nestled in the perfect tranquility of the jungle. During the day, it’s easy to walk to all the most interesting spots in town, while at night, you can enjoy the peace and the sounds of nature. It’s perfect for those who love an active day but prefer to relax in quiet surroundings in the evening. The room is very spacious, cozy and clean, with a super comfortable bed. Housekeeping is frequent, with regular changes of bed linens and towels – a very nice level of comfort. The hotel staff speaks English well and are incredibly kind and helpful, always ready to assist with any questions or requests. The property is lush with greenery and offers a great view of a nearby rock formation (mountain). I especially appreciated the drying rack for clothes. The room had all the necessary amenities, and everything worked without any issues. The balcony is very cozy and a fantastic spot to relax in the evening. Overall, everything was great – the hotel is definitely worth its price. I highly recommend this place!

Everything was perfect. Staff was very welcoming. We have got free drinks upon arrival, pancakes with tea and bye-bye gifts during our stay. We had room with air conditioning and private balcony for around 38$ per night which was definitely worth the price paid. Due to trees you couldn’t see the sea. Private fridge-freezer in the room as well. Nice and comfortable bed and bedding. There was one nice window to the garden view also. Room was much better than we expected by pictures. We had all kitchen equipment, tea, coffee, sugar in the room. We have got extra beach towels which was changed every day. Great constant hot water. I am very fussy but could not found any cons. Definitely recommend if visiting Unawatuna. Beach just across the road, 1 minute walk. Place is safe as well because equipped with cameras and safe for money in the room.

We have been staying at this hotel for a week and have already extended our stay by a month. You won't find better service in Sri Lanka. The manager Chandana and all the staff are the friendliest people I have ever met. Any request will be fulfilled as soon as possible. Everything you ask for is available. Breakfast is included in the price, the table is not extensive, but every day the staff comes up with something new. For lunch and dinner you can choose a dish from the menu, the portions are huge for an average price! Every evening fresh fish is prepared for us, we buy it by ourselves at the local market. We pay quite a bit and get a delicious dinner right in the room. The hotel is on a hill which makes the views even better. There are many zones on a very well-groomed territory, a reception with a hammock and a large sofa, a dining area, a garden, a swimming pool, verandas near the room, bar. There are monitor lizards, squirrels, birds, sometimes monkeys appear) The staff also monitors their behavior! It’s not close to the ocean, but the road on a scooter takes 5-7 minutes, we don’t feel it at all. There is a great opportunity to enjoy the beauty of the island. Chandana also provided me with a new, beautiful scooter, at a low price for the island. We don’t feel much insects, everything is as it should be within the island. In addition, cute lizards live near the room doing their work so The room is spacious, very high stylish ceilings, minimalistic renovation. The room has a kettle, a refrigerator that freezes perfectly, TV, air conditioning. There is a laundry service, they will wash your clothes for minimal price. In general, the best place in Sri, very beautiful, I will attach a photo. Big thank you. Chandana and staff for your service ❤️

Very friendly owner made us feel right at home. The rooms had comfy beds, were a good size and had decent fans and AC. If you go to Unawatuna Flamingo is a great option. Not fancy but very homely and welcoming and has everything you need. There's also a couple of nice communal sitting areas for rainy days or chilling out It is situated right in the middle of everything.

    Such a great location, right next to the beach and we were lucky to have a room with a beach view. The staff were very lovely. We were there during off season so it was very quiet, but I'm sure during peak season it would be packed and have a great vibe.
