The most charming place I’ve ever had the pleasure of staying in. I travel a lot and spend five months of the year in hotels and apartments, and I can confidently say that this place is truly special. A lovely neighborhood, a bright, clean, and spacious interior crafted with great attention to the smallest details. A wonderful host who truly cares about the guests. All of this allows for an escape from the hustle and bustle of the city, while being just a 20-minute bike ride from Amsterdam.

The staff was very friendly, even before our stay. Check in was without problems. We liked our room very much, it contained everything necessary and was clean. The adjacent communal kitchen contained all the necessary equipment and also board games to borrow. It is a bit remote (it is essentially on a farm, if I understand correctly), but thanks to that the surroundings were very calm and quiet (despite the road nearby). It also means that if you travel by public transport, it is a bit of a walk from the bus stop, but the remoteness was in my opinion worth it. If you travel by bike, the bike road goes directly in front of the B&B. Some would say that the walls are thin and you hear the other guests walking above you or opening and closing doors, but it is not disruptive and it is not different from an apartment building or a family house.

    Theo was a great host really helpful and kind to us, asked for extra pillows they were delivered straight away, quiet room very clean great kitchen area everything you need coffee and tea and milk provided lovely 5 days away in beautiful monnickendam overlooking the marina will visit again thanks so much for the warm welcome 🤗

    Great location with the harbour and free parking directly in front of the property, and also convenient to drive to Amsterdam. The hosts were very friendly and had useful advice for where to park etc. The accommodation also felt very private, with access to our own kitchen etc. Very happy to have stayed here.
